FAQ’s

As a result, many people come to us with lots of questions and uncertainty. Even for those customers who have looked into automation before, it can still be hard to get a grasp on many of the concepts that will come up when we start work on your project.

Whether you are just starting to look into automation, or you have some questions about your ongoing project, check out our FAQs below!

A: We design, develop, and construct custom machinery for use in a variety of industries and with a range of applications. Customers come to us with all types of machinery needs, and we work with them at every step of production to ensure that we are clear on their needs, that their machine will suit their needs in an efficient and cost-effective way, and that they understand what is going on at each stage of production.

We handle every step of production on an in-house basis. To accomplish this, we employ individuals with training in many fields including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, sales, and robotics. This means that regardless of the complexity of your system, we will be able to handle every step of design and production within our company.

A: Unlike many of our competitors, Automation GT is able to support you in every step of machine manufacture on an in-house basis. This means that for any aspect of your project for which you might need support or help, you will only have to go to Automation GT, rather than a host of third party companies for each different thing you might need.

Also, unlike many of our competitors, we offer a robust level of customer service so that once your new machine is at your location you are not left without any help or assistance with integration or when problems occur.

We have worked with companies who have lots of experience with automation, as well as with companies who have never really looked into automation before. As a result, we are able to speak to all levels of knowledge on the subject, and we will be able to help you understand how to integrate our machine into your larger system, and how to plan for your company’s future growth starting with the first machine you buy from us.

A: Since our founding in 2002, we have worked on a wide variety of types of projects. These have included one-time projects in which we build a single machine for a customer, as well as ongoing projects in which we work with customers to develop larger, more complex systems. These have included systems capable of assembly, processing, testing, and inspection among others, and have been used in a variety of industries including medical device production, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology applications, as well as many other advanced technology procedures. We have also produced machines for less complex processes for companies that wanted to streamline and simplify their processes.

We have developed machines and systems for companies that want to automate their entire processes, as well as for companies that only want to automate portions of their processes. Because everything we do is custom designed, we can include as much or as little automated capacity as requested.

When you meet with us in the early stages of project development, we will be able to show you example photos, videos, write-ups, and demonstrations from other projects with similar elements or features to the one we envision for you. This will give you the opportunity to see how our work can benefit you specifically.

A: Our website provides a brief overview of the types of projects we have developed in the past including vision, assembly, and inspection systems. However, it does not provide a complete overview of all types of projects we have ever undertaken. If you have a specific question about project types, email sales@automationgt.com.

A: Our website offers a brief overview of the types of industries we have worked with in the past. However, this is a very general list and does not fully cover the variety of industries of our customers. In recent years, we have been particularly involved in projects with companies from biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries, but in truth we are interested in all applications of advanced processing technology, regardless of the industry. We welcome inquiries from customers in every industry, and have a wealth of experience that helps tackle any new project we may see.
