Automation GT’s Rachel Greenberg has a new article at HubPages on the value of efficient automation for companies that want to improve their environmental impact.
According to a recent poll, over 80% of industrial manufacturers consider the improvement of the environmental impact of their factories to be a priority concern. And because industrial manufacturing is an old industry, as it has grown up it has inherited lots of imperfect systems and technologies simply because it becomes hard to change elements of an industry once they have become standard or expected.
Choosing efficient automated machinery can be a great opportunity to do some “greening” for virtually any industrial manufacturer. Ultimately, converting to new automated machines can help manufacturers save money and resources on electricity, food and water bills, and employee time.
